PURPOSE AND ELIGIBILITY
This annual scholarship is awarded by the Trustees of the French Huguenot Church of London Charitable Trust, on the advice of the Institute of Historical Research.
The award will be made to a student working for a higher university degree or equivalent, on a Huguenot subject, such as the study of any activity of the French, the Dutch, the Flemish or the Walloon Protestants from the 16th century onwards, in any geographical area. 'Activity' will be interpreted in the widest sense.
The purpose of the award is to facilitate the research of the recipient, for example, to cover research trips, etc.
APPLICATIONS
As well as completing the online form, applicants must provide a CV and statement of their thesis (no more than 1000 words). References will be requested of candidates who have been shortlisted.

Applications must be submitted via the IHR’s online application system. Where supporting documents are requested in the application, these should be in Word format or PDF format. Hard-copy applications sent to the Institute will be deemed ineligible.
